Here’s how it works: 

Here at WALKFORTHEWORLD.COM you will find all of the information that you need to get started.  

First, you must register. You can do that online or through the mail.

Second, raise support. Ask other businesses, friends, neighbors, relatives or anyone who will donate or pledge money for you to walk up to 5 miles. 

Third, build a team. Get some friends to walk with you and raise support too!  (it’s better to not walk alone!!) 

Fourth, submit any pledges and donations that you receive. You will find a sponsorship log in the downloadable packet to track your progress. Your supporters can either donate online or in person. As soon as we receive your first $50.00 in pledge money (preferably by November 1st) we will send you your “Walk For The World” T-shirt and a pedometer to record how far you walk.  These are yours to keep 

and use on the day of the walk. We will all be walking on November 7th between 9am and 5pm.  You can walk with a group at a set location, walk in the mall while window-shopping, or you can walk at home in your PJ’s on your treadmill. WHERE you walk is not important, as long as you keep track of your miles. 

Fifth, follow-up.  After the walk, you will be responsible to collect all funds from anyone who pledged. Please send that in to Project 127 by November 15th. 

Finally, claim your prizes! You can win an all-expense paid mission trip for yourself or someone else. Along with a ton of other great prizes. But most importantly, you will have a part in changing someone’s life for eternity!
